Our clients saw the potential of this property in a very popular neighborhood. This home was purchased as part of their plan to retire in Durango.
The husband and wife were living in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Her career as an Interior Designer and his background in Architecture provided this couple with the vision to renovate this “Ugly Duckling.”
While finishing their careers, Custom Touch Builders stripped the old structure down to bare studs before adding a spacious Master Suite, a modern kitchen, powder bath and a Den on the main level. Upstairs we added two new Bedrooms and a Guest Bath. One of the Bedrooms serves double duty as a Home Office and Guest Bedroom, with a custom-built Murphy Bed seamlessly integrated into the design.
Throughout the entire process Custom Touch Builders worked closely with our clients, modernizing this old house into a cozy, energy efficient home.
